The people who figured it out are one conversation away.
Your college funds the credits. You spend them on one-to-one calls with alumni who have already made the decision you are facing.
- No card, ever — your college pays
- Credits refunded if a call does not happen
- Every mentor verified before you see them
For colleges
Buy credits centrally, grant them to students, and see exactly where every credit went.
For students
Spend credits on one-to-one calls, or ask a question in writing, with alumni who have already walked your path.
For mentors
Publish the hours you are free once, accept the requests that suit you, and earn on every call you take.
Four steps, and nobody pays out of pocket.
Credits move in one direction — college, student, mentor — and every move is recorded.
- 1
The college buys credits
One purchase, centrally. No student is ever asked for a card.
- 2
Credits are granted to students
An administrator moves credits into student wallets and can see the balance of every one.
- 3
A student books or asks
A one-to-one call with a mentor, or a written thread. Credits are held the moment they do.
- 4
Credits settle when it happens
The mentor is paid once the call is marked done. Nothing happens, nothing is spent.
Two ways to reach a mentor.
Pick the one that fits the question. Both are priced by the platform, and both refund if the mentor never turns up.
A one-to-one call
- Pick a time the mentor has actually published — no back-and-forth over email.
- They accept with a Google Meet link, which lands on your dashboard and in your chat.
- Rate it afterwards. That rating is what the next student sees.
A written thread
- Cheaper than a call, for when you need an answer rather than a conversation.
- A fixed number of messages to one mentor, who replies in writing when they can.
- If they decline, or never answer, the credits come straight back.
Credits are never quietly lost.
The whole system is built around one rule: a credit only leaves a student when a mentor has actually helped them.
Held, not spent
Booking puts credits on hold. They only leave a student’s balance once the conversation has actually taken place.
Cancelled means refunded
If either side cancels, or the mentor declines, the student gets every credit back in full. There is no cancellation fee.
Verified mentors only
Every mentor is reviewed and approved before a student can see them, and rated by the students they have actually spoken to.
Every credit is traceable
Issued, granted, held, spent or refunded — each movement is a double-entry ledger line a college can read back.
Already a few years ahead of someone?
Mentors publish the hours they are free once a week, accept only the requests that suit them, and earn on every call that goes ahead. Students are reviewed by their college, so you always know who you are talking to.
